@nicd @foosel yes, Prusa is great (the printers work well and their software & hardware are open-source)
Edit: see foosel’s reply below — I forgot about, for example, the binary gcode fiasco with their slicer where you have to toggle a buried checkbox to get files that work with OctoPrint.
Other than that, I’ve been happy with my Prusa mini, and as far as I know it can accept gcode files from any common slicer…for now.
