Have you ever wondered about slime molds? Just the name should spark some curiosity, or revulsion. Here's a very short article on slime molds in Bay Nature that packs a lot of info in a short one pager. Bay Nature is a fine nature journal oriented to the Bay Area but many things bay area apply to the west coast. I would frequently travel to the bay area for work projects and always found time to explore.
