This is year 6. <a href="https://pnw.zone/tags/teacher" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>teacher</span></a> <a href="https://pnw.zone/tags/teaching" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>teaching</span></a> <a href="https://pnw.zone/tags/specialeducation" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>specialeducation</span></a> <a href="https://pnw.zone/tags/specialed" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>specialed</span></a> <a href="https://pnw.zone/tags/SpED" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>SpED</span></a> <a href="https://pnw.zone/tags/education" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>education</span></a></p>
Alessa Giampaolo Keener<p>I did a pro bono <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/SpEd" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SpEd</span></a> consult and am left with a bit of a <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/moral" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>moral</span></a> dilemma, so tell me <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/edutooters" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>edutooters</span></a>, what would you do. 7yo girl attends a middle class <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/PublicSchool" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>PublicSchool</span></a>. A 1st grade boy repeatedly enters the girl's bathroom and taunts the girl's as he looks at them under the doors. After the girl's privacy had been violated a number of times over weeks, she finally kicked the boy in the face the last time, as he was peering at her. Girl is developmentally delayed and school punished her, not 1/2</p>

(I was over qualified for the job but hoping it might lead to something better in the co.) Had a dad call. His son suffered a TBI from football. I rearranged the kid's upcoming juniir yr schedule and gave the dad info on educational planning &amp; issues to be in the look out for. Documented everything, including rationale. Local principal over-ruled the entire <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/SpEd" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SpEd</span></a> plan because 1/2</p>
