Hi, again.

Deleted my spuddle acct here but apparently my iquitoz acct was mysteriously connected to it and it too was deleted. Wish that was made clear.
Need to check HD to see if partial “Following” and “Followers” lists are still available. It’s like Starting Over… again.

Thanks so much for all those that have donated as well as inquired about the finances of . To share some stats... From Nov-Jan, we averaged $86/month in donations. Our expenses are about $300/month. We currently have about 220 monthly active users. If 50% of folks gave just $3/month then we'd be good to cover costs with and build a small reserve. Hey users. We've been doing some analysis of our top users and 50% of our top 30 users are all bots that are mirroring Twitter accounts through sportsbots.xyz/

The Mastodon team released a big update to the world today. Here at , we will be upgrading our server in the next week or two. With this many changes in a single release, we like to lag just a tad behind to avoid any unforeseen issues that may be found out in the wild.

@wellschmaltz Can you link an example post that is doing that? The server currently caches remote images, but I only keep them locally for 7 days (soon to be 14 days). If they are deleted from the cache then my server will go back to the original post and request the image again. Outside of a little delay, that should work fine assuming the original image is still available for us to download and cache again.
